“And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We read about the life of Abraham and can't help but say, "Oh how I wish I were as blessed as Abraham." Thank God we can say, "I am blessed too!" The same spirit that lives in Abraham, healed and restored his body lives in us.  The same spirit that prospered Abraham and gave him great success lives in us. The same spirit that kept Abraham in peace and gave him grace to understand God's higher way of relationship lives in us. So yes, as we read the wonderful blessings of Abraham we too can say that's our inheritance.  We can say the seed of the Lord Jesus Christ that lives in us has restored, blessed and kept us.

"Los sacrificios de Dios son el espíritu quebrantado;

Al corazón contrito y humillado no despreciarás tú, oh Dios.”

Ps 51.17 RVR1960

“My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.”‭‭PSALM‬ ‭51:17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

God is consistent in showing us His love, His fatherhood, His detailed care and protection. What triggers this enormous love? It's a broken and contrite heart. The scripture says, He resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Jesus is moved with compassion and love every time we are weary, worried or sad.  When we have a defective product we bring it to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

When you have a broken heart you take it back to the one who made it. He is the only one that has the tools and the know how to make it ok again. Jesus will even give you a brand new heart not a refurbished one. Let the creator of your soul make you better, stronger, and give you a new beginning.

“So Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him; and they escorted him on his way, with his wife and all that he had.”

‭‭GENESIS‬ ‭12:20‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Yesterday, the Bishop specifically spoke about Abraham giving Sarah up twice because he wanted to save his own skin yet God still blessed them. I am amazed that God would give us this scripture this morning. Obviously God wants us to understand that no matter what situation we may be in, He is always with us. Sarah was highly disappointed, scared and lonely but she remained faithful to her husband and to God. Sometimes situations in life may hurt, be overwhelming and not feel so good but with God we can overcome it all. He can burn away the darkness. Jesus turns your sadness to joy, a rough time to easy going, and sickness to healing. God is greater than even Pharaoh himself. He will forever and always be with us.

Word of the Day

“preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching.”‭‭2 TIMOTHY‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The verse before this says,  "I command you".  God wants us to preach the gospel, but with conviction and understanding.  He's called us to do His work.  In the scriptures,  kings came to pay tribute to king David. One king even sent his son, which speaks volumes when one sends their child.  God is sending us, His children, to preach the gospel.  Let's not take that lightly. It's simply grace that He's chosen us to tell everyone that Jesus can heal and is still healing.

Let's be grateful today that God loves us as His children!
