“preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching.”2 TIMOTHY 4:2 AMP
The verse before this says, "I command you". God wants us to preach the gospel, but with conviction and understanding. He's called us to do His work. In the scriptures, kings came to pay tribute to king David. One king even sent his son, which speaks volumes when one sends their child. God is sending us, His children, to preach the gospel. Let's not take that lightly. It's simply grace that He's chosen us to tell everyone that Jesus can heal and is still healing.
Let's be grateful today that God loves us as His children!
