TIMES SQUARE CONCERT THIS SATURDAY!

The Rock Churches Worldwide will perform this Saturday, October 28th at 7pm in the middle of Time Square for their annual #ROCKAMILLION concert at the iconic red stairs. Featuring original songs from all three of their Top 25 debuting albums in Christian and Gospel music, expect high-energy dance tracks that cross musical genres and break stereotypes. The concert is held in the heart of New York City every year to bring the heart of Jesus Christ to the world’s capital; and this year it is dedicated to those affected in the recent tragedy in Las Vegas.

In an effort to not just mask the pain but heal the wounds, this concert is the culmination of a campaign to bring a prayer of hope and healing to 58 million people in the month of October: one million for every life that was so abruptly cut short in the Las Vegas shooting. This movement, called #ROCKAMILLION, is an answer to a call for peace. More than just promoting tolerance, it is a push towards a global revolution where human compassion is conditioned and kindness is an instinct. It shines a light on the truth that the beauty of America is found its diversity, and the celebration of every person’s unique life is what will advance humanity towards a healed tomorrow.

This psalm is short, sweet and powerful.  It only has 2 verses and it includes the number of complete victory - 17.  The first verse reads how we should praise and worship Him. This allows His grace and mercy to be upon us even though some folks may not have the best intentions towards us. Even if we have internal struggles, we know His mercy endures forever.  We may not understand God's plan for us exactly but we know that the great I am loves us. It may be cloudy for us but it's never cloudy for Him.  He makes the sunshine shine and burns the darkness away every morning. We just have to walk with the mercy of God in our lives.

No podemos pensar: "Esta escritura es para otra persona". Es inteligente tomar esta escritura y aplicarla a nosotros mismos. Dios ha estado hablando de esto durante un par de semanas. Cuando algo se dice más de una vez tenemos que prestar atención. Dios quiere darnos el don del perdón. El perdón es poder y trae libertad; siempre habrá alguien a quien debemos perdonar. Sé sabio y ríndete, liberando todo lo que tienes al Salvador para que ni la persona, ni la ofensa disminuya nuestra relación con Cristo. Ahora, no podemos permitir que otra persona quite nada de nuestro caminar con Cristo. Hagamos felices a Jesús y perdonemos. Empujémonos a perdonar a todos. Tengamos un maratón de perdón hoy.

We can't think to ourselves, "This scripture is for someone else."  It is smart to take this scripture and apply it to ourselves.  God has been speaking about this for a couple weeks. When something is said more than once we need to pay attention.  God wants to give us the gift of forgiveness.  Forgiveness is power and brings freedom; there will always be someone we need to forgive.  Be wise and surrender, releasing whatever we are holding to the Savior so that neither the person nor the offense diminishes our relationship with Christ. We can't allow another person to take anything away from our walk with Christ.  Let's make Jesus happy and be forgivers.  Let's push ourselves to forgive all.  Let's have a marathon of forgiveness today.

Este capítulo es muy eficaz para asegurarnos que entendemos que Él es Dios y que Él desea santificación. También llegamos a comprender que Él es un fuego consumidor, no un fuego que nos destruye, sino que nos lleva a un terreno más alto y santo... Piense en Moisés ya la zarza ardiente. ¡En un momento en el que vemos un árbol ardiendo con un fuego consumidor, sin embargo el árbol no fue consumido!
Permítale a Jesús que sea un fuego dentro de usted, piense en Él diariamente. Que Su presencia sea muy real y la reconozca en todo momento. Ahora usted puede comenzar su jornada con su Rey y amigo. Se fuerte y valiente. Este es el fuego que todos necesitamos tener.

“For our God is a consuming fire.”

Hebrews 12:29

This chapter is very effective in making sure we understand that He is God and that He desires sanctification. We also come to understand that He is a consuming fire, not a fire that destroys us but bring us to a higher and holy ground.  Go back to Moses and the burning bush. A moment in time where we see a tree burning with a consuming fire yet the tree was not consumed by the fire.

Allow Jesus to be a fire within you, think of Him daily. Let His presence be so very real and acknowledge it at every moment.  Now you can begin your journey with your King and friend. Be strong and courageous. This is the fire that we all need to have.

Dice la escritura no sólo que eche su carga, sino que se libere; Dios quiere que lo suelte completamente. No lo aguante, suéltelo como un pestillo.

Dios nunca dejará que fracase, se resbale o caiga. Tenemos una garantía del 100 por ciento de que no fallará. Dios iluminará el camino y nos mostrará qué hacer y dónde debemos ir. La misericordia y la gracia de Dios son grandes. Entréguele todo al Señor: todas las preocupaciones,  pensamientos, no importa lo que sea o lo complicado que pueda ser.

Su corazón es amar, cuidar y bendecir a sus hijos. Hoy, asegúrese de dejarlo todo a el Señor, sea una preocupación grande o pequeña. El está en los detalles. Estará mejor en Sus manos que en las nuestras.
