“I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’”

We were saved by Grace and mercy not by anything we did. For some reason human beings tend to forget and at times fall into the syndrome of “I will, I want, I will do”. Jesus simply wants us always to remember that we were saved when we didn’t know that we needed to be saved. Yet, He lives interceding for us, pouring His goodness upon us. God seeks those who understand the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. It’s because of the cross that we live and “live more abundantly”. Remember it’s all abouy Jesus’ will, Jesus’ wants, what Jesus will do.
