There’s nothing wrong with desiring nice things on earth and being prosperous, as long as we remember that it is all temporary.
Put your eyes on Christ, your Savior, the one who died and resurrected. So that you have a permanent home to go to that is free from all the vexes of humanity.
Our direction is home - to be heaven-bound in permanent peace.
