For everyone born of God is victorious andovercomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].
The Israelites had a problem when they came to the Red Sea. They not only were looking at their problem, they smelled the salty sea, they could touch it with their feet, and they could even taste it. Sadly, the most difficult of all, is the mental awareness of death. They knew that humanly they could not cross over. Then, there is God. God took the very sea that was mocking them, and used it to kill and cover their difficult enemy. Persistence and making a determined decision to believe in the promises of God, will give you the key. In this upside down world, we must hang on to the truths of Christ and don’t waver. You will be the evidence that Jesus is alive, and what He said He would do, He will do.
