Hebrews 2:10 KJV

[10] For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

It became Him (Jesus ). It benefited Him. It was appropriate and was becoming of Him that he would bring salvation to multitudes. He is the captain of our salvation. Emphasis added in that He would do that through his sufferings. It was the right thing to do that He would fulfill all righteousness, saving us by His suffering to such an extent.
