Word of the Day

“He who despises the word will be destroyed, But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭13:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Again the fear of the Lord is good for us.  This is the 3rd or 4th time God is mentioning this over the last week.  Obviously Jesus is encouraging us to respect and envision His grandeur. Oceans are so very deep, mysterious, fearfully powerful, yet it cannot compare to the greatness of our God. All the oceans put together do not come close to who and what God is and this same God decided to come and abide in us.

Tener un sano temor al Señor es sabio. ¡Qué buena manera de comenzar la semana! El autoexamen es un buen comienzo para asegurarnos de tener la perspectiva correcta de Dios.
Tener la perspectiva correcta conduce a tomar decisiones piadosas. Ni siquiera puedes considerar obtener sabiduría sin tener un temor saludable al Señor. Respetamos el mar debido a su increíble tamaño y poder. Jesús es un Dios increíble, augusto y poderoso. Él es más poderoso que todos los mares del mundo juntos.

Having a healthy fear of the Lord is wise.  What a good way to start the week!  Self examination is a good start to make sure that we have the right perspective of God.

Having the right perspective leads to making Godly decisions.  You can't even consider getting wisdom without having a healthy fear of the Lord.  We respect the sea because of its awesome size and power. Jesus is an awesome, august, and powerful God.  He is more powerful than all the seas in the world put together.

Si solo siguiéramos los caminos apasionados de David, experimentaríamos la victoria, la paz, la amistad en una vida con Cristo. Tenemos un amigo en Jesús y pase lo que pase en la vida, Dios está de tu lado. En la escritura, el joven viene con regalos, eso hace Dios por nosotros. Él bendice a Sus hijos y les da honor. Tengamos el corazón de David y seamos obedientes como él para que podamos tener la victoria completa que el mundo pueda ver. Dios te dará honor ahora en este mundo y te exaltará entre los hombres.

If we would only follow David's passionate ways, we would experience the victory, peace, friendship of living a life with Christ.  We have a friend in Jesus and no matter what happens in life, God is on your side.  In the scripture, the young man coming with gifts is what God does for us.  He blesses His children and gives us honor.  Let's have the heart of David and be obedient like David so that we can have the complete victory that the world can see.  He will give you honor now in this world and lift you up among men.

Sin el temor reverente y absoluto a el Señor, no se puede tener sabiduría; es un respeto saludable a el Señor sabiendo que él es santo, entendiendo que él es increíblemente grande. Debemos respetar a Dios porque él nos da el aire que respiramos. Estamos aquí porque Él lo permite. Sin saber por dónde empezar al preguntarle; “¿qué te gustaría que haga con esta vida que me diste?” es sabiduría. Hoy revisemos nuestro nivel de reverencia y temor al Señor que nos mantendrá correctamente alineados con la palabra de Dios. La sabiduría es la unción, el poder que cambia la vida, el poder de hacer milagros y es el Espíritu Santo de Dios.

Word of the Day

“The [reverent] fear of the LORD is the beginning (the prerequisite, the absolute essential, the alphabet) of wisdom; A good understanding and a teachable heart are possessed by all those who do the will of the LORD; His praise endures forever.”‭Psalm 111:10 (AMPC)

Without that reverent and absolute fear of the Lord we can't have wisdom; that's having a healthy respect for the Lord.  Knowing He is holy, and understanding He's amazingly big.  We should respect God because He gives us the air we breathe. We are here because He allows us to be here.  To ask God what He wants us to do with this life is to operate in wisdom.  Today let's revisit our level of reverent fear of the Lord and that will keep us rightly aligned with God's word. Wisdom is the anointing, life-changing power, miracle-making power, and the Holy Spirit of God.
