[4]And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

[5]And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the Lord to day.

So simple, so clear, so direct. You can go to the supermarket, get all the ingredients, cook a special meal, and then it’s not what the person requested. Before all the preparation, ask the Lord. Whether it’s small or big ask His opinion and expect an answer. We are so comfortable doing what we want. Meanwhile, God is saying you need to seek and listen to Me.
