Matthew‬ ‭12:17-18‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:
“Behold, My Servant whom I have chosen;
My Beloved in whom My soul is well-pleased;
I will put My Spirit upon Him,
And He will proclaim justice to the nations.

First, He was a servant, and one that could be trusted, a faithful servant chosen by God. Every Christian is chosen to be a servant, faithful and trustworthy. Imagine, He wants you to be His beloved. One that He could be well pleased with. One that He could place His Spirit upon, and that would preach the gospel to the world; what a sacred privilege.

Primero, era un siervo, y alguien en quien se podía confiar, un siervo fiel elegido por Dios. Todo cristiano es elegido para ser un servidor, fiel y digno de confianza. Imagínese, Él quiere que usted sea Su amado. Uno con el que Él podría estar muy complacido. Uno en el que pudiera poner Su Espíritu y que predicaría el evangelio al mundo; que privilegio sagrado.

Acts 2:3-4
“And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

This is what caused the Greatest movement in the world, the Holy Spirit's visit to mankind. Visiting these men and women in this upper room, caused such an incredible experience that they were never same. Their speech and thoughts changed, everything changed, even their perspectives changed! That is what caused a worldwide, rapid change till this day. (Note - without cell phones,computers, tv, etc.) Just as real as all the prophesies being completed, this happening was just as real. It’s this power that will and can change your life to a Zoe kind of life of Christ!

John‬ ‭17:13‬

“But now I am coming to You; and I say these things [while I am still] in the world so that they may experience My joy made full and complete and perfect within them [filling their hearts with My delight].”

Really?—-filling us with His joy! Wow what kind of love is this??? He poured himself out completely on the cross so that we lack nothing. He poured all His goodness, joy, love, peace, power, authority, patience, forgiveness, newness of life out unto the earth as He exchanged it for our hatred, loneliness, torment, stress, poverty, fear, anxiety, failure.

Learn to tune your ear to the voice of the One who loves you more than His life.

Juan 17:13

“Pero ahora vengo a ti; y digo estas cosas [mientras estoy todavía] en el mundo para que experimenten Mi gozo hecho pleno, completo y perfecto dentro de ellos [llenando sus corazones con Mi deleite].”

De verdad? - llenándonos de Su gozo! Wow, qué tipo de amor es este??? Se derramó por completo en la cruz para que no nos falte nada. Él derramó toda Su bondad, gozo, amor, paz, poder, autoridad, paciencia, perdón, novedad de vida en la tierra mientras lo cambiaba por nuestro odio, soledad, tormento, estrés, pobreza, miedo, ansiedad, fracaso.

Aprende a sintonizar tu oído con la voz de Aquel que te ama más que a Su vida.

Psalms‬ ‭91:2‬

“I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!””

Trust is a very personal action. Trust is your inner being peeking out and actually saying I will believe what you say, and I believe you will do what you say. People will let you down, but God will forever be faithful.

Serving the Lord so many years, you get to see so many lives change, and see the faithfulness of Christ. There are prayers that you think go nowhere, but then you realize that we forget, but He never forgets.

Confide in Him. God is never caught off guard, sleeping, or overwhelmed - He’s got this.

Salmos 91:2

“Diré del SEÑOR:“ Él es mi refugio y mi fortaleza, mi Dios, en quien confío [con gran confianza, y en quien me apoyo].””

La confianza es una acción muy personal. La confianza es tu ser interior que se asoma y dice que creeré lo que dices, y creo que harás lo que dices. La gente te defraudará, pero Dios siempre será fiel.

Al servir al Señor durante tantos años, puedes ver tantas vidas cambiar y ver la fidelidad de Cristo. Hay oraciones que piensas que no van a ninguna parte, pero luego te das cuenta de que olvidamos, pero Él nunca olvida.

Confía en Él. Dios nunca es sorprendido con la guardia baja, durmiendo o abrumado; lo tiene todo bajo control.
