Word Of The Day

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭2:2‬

“Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

Who is this Jesus that people speak about? Who is this man that began this movement called Christianity? A gentle soul, that did miracles and rose the dead. A man described by prophets hundreds of years before, even describing how He would die. Scribes and witness testifying that He, in fact, rose again. He hurt no one; in fact He was a successful healer. Yet, they killed Him, and today, universities aggressively try to discredit Him. Why?

These men were called wise. It is wise to inquire, search out, and study this man called Jesus.

Palabra Del Día

Mateo 2:2

John‬ ‭15:15‬

“I do not call you servants any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you [My] friends, because I have revealed to you everything that I have heard from My Father.”

Knowing Jesus is not a religion, but a relationship. Yes, it is a bit different from what we know of relationships, humans anyway. It is a realm that is very accessible and much easier to attain than we think. Jesus’s action on the cross has caused us to now have a relationship as children with the Father, Jehovah Adonai.

We went from servants to heirs, from slaves to children. Now we have the right to enter into His presence as a rightful child to His father. Speak and wait for an answer, for Jesus did it all at the cross and through the resurrection.

It is us now, that we must simply try to believe and trust.

Juan 15:15

Word Of The Day

John‬ ‭16:16‬

““In a day or so you’re not going to see me, but then in another day or so you will see me.””

Jesus spoke these words to His disciples (friends) in order to prepare them for the event of His death and resurrection. He said, you have me now, but then you won’t for a short while, then you will have me again.

From ancient, written prophecies, to witnesses at the grave site, soldiers and scribes attest that Jesus resurrected. That’s good news for those who will believe.

Yes, you will see your loved ones again. Yes, you can have a redo, a start-over in your life. Even though you may think God is not working things out - He is! Mistakes erased, that’s why He died and went away for a short while, but He came back!

Palabra Del Día

Juan 16:16

Word Of The Day

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭55:22‬

“Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).”

Sometimes life doesn’t always throw you flowers and candies. Lemons, at times, are a good description for certain situations. That is where we must make the determination to follow Christ, no matter what life flavors give you. Sweet or sour we must trust and believe in this wonderful Savior, knowing that He will turn all things for good, always.

The verse says to RELEASE your burdens. It’s like when you’re standing on your own two feet, but then when you DECIDE to sit down, you’re resting on the chair. The chair is actually taking all your weight.

It seems that, at times, we have more confidence in a chair then God with our problems. Just as we let our muscles relax and let go in a chair, do the same in your spirit. Goodness is guaranteed to those who obey, follow, trust and believe.Def
