‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:6‬

“Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Nor of the destruction (sudden death) that lays waste at noon.”

Each time I read how Egypt was destroyed, I am more amazed. He used a fly! Yes, a fly to destroy Egypt, the most powerful country at the time. Not only that, a locust ! Yes, a small bug called a locust! Then a frog! Really?! Amazing. In Goshen, where the children of Israel were, they were not affected.

God promises that He will keep all pestilence from you. Faith is power.

Salmos 91:6

“Ni de la peste que acecha en la oscuridad, ni de la destrucción (muerte súbita) que arrasa al mediodía.”

Cada vez que leo cómo se destruyó Egipto, me sorprende más. Él usó una mosca! Sí, una mosca para destruir Egipto, el país más poderoso de la época. No solo eso, una langosta! Sí, un pequeño insecto llamado langosta! Entonces una rana! De Verdad?! Asombroso. En Goshen, donde estaban los hijos de Israel, no fueron afectados.

Dios promete que mantendrá toda peste lejos de ti. La fe es poder.

Psalms 91:5

“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;”

God said in His scriptures do not be afraid of mankind, but of Him! Amazing how He is to the point, saying how He is more powerful and more in control that we think.

He will protect you from attacks in the dark when people are most vulnerable. Also, from attacks that simply happen by chance.

Do not be afraid of the news we hear, nor the wars we watch, nor the daily attacks of negative thoughts you encounter. God has His hands over you! God always wins.

“No tendrás miedo del terror de la noche, ni de la flecha que vuela de día”

Dios dijo en sus escrituras que no le tengan miedo a la humanidad, sino a él! Es asombroso cómo es hasta el punto, diciendo que es más poderoso y tiene más control de lo que pensamos.

Te protegerá de los ataques en la oscuridad cuando las personas son más vulnerables. Además, de ataques que simplemente ocurren por casualidad.

No tengamos miedo de las noticias que escuchamos, ni de las guerras que vemos, ni de los ataques diarios de pensamientos negativos que encuentres. Dios tiene sus manos sobre ti! Dios siempre gana.

Psalms 91:4

“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”

Like a bird who covers their child with feathers to protect them, so will God’s love protect you. God’s word is truth and powerful. He is your protection, your shield against the enemy and your buckler for added protection.

God’s love for His children is more than sufficient. He promises to work out everything for good. We may not understand but He always does.

“Él te cubrirá y te protegerá por completo con sus piñones, y debajo de sus alas encontrarás refugio; Su fidelidad es un escudo y un muro.”

Como un pájaro que cubre a sus polluelos con sus plumas para protegerlos, el amor de Dios también te protegerá a ti. La palabra de Dios es verdadera y poderosa. Él es tu protección, tu escudo contra el enemigo y tu escudo para mayor protección.

El amor de Dios por sus hijos es más que suficiente. Promete resolver todo para bien. Puede que no entendamos, pero Él siempre lo hace.

Psalms‬ ‭91:3‬

“For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.”

Life is full of questions and decisions each day. It may become a bit tiresome and in some a bit stressful, but in all situations like these we must know that we have a friend in Jesus. This friend will always find us the way out.

In the mist of the storm, the disciples felt the water on their skin, felt and heard the wind. They were fearful and thinking they were going to die. Yet, Jesus slept in the mist of it all. Jesus is in control. No one perished.

Trust Him. He will save you from the deceiver, trapper, foe, etc. Yes, Jesus is faithful always.
