Word Of The Day

Psalms‬ ‭91:9‬

“Because you have made the LORD, [who is] my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,”

The question is have we made the Lord our dwelling place? Really? Then, how have we made Him our dwelling place? Have we taken a solitary moment and asked The Lord to make His house in us? If not, that’s ok, it’s not too late.

Where God lives no plague can come near and where He is, He defends.

Salmos 91:9

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:8‬

“You will only [be a spectator as you] look on with your eyes And witness the [divine] repayment of the wicked [as you watch safely from the shelter of the Most High].”

Setting one’s eyes where they should be is wise, life-sustaining, self healing and peaceful. The only place to set your eyes is on your creator; your manufacturer who knows how, and has all the extra parts to fix you.

There is a wonderful benefit when you are obedient, you are now an eye witness to your enemies being vanquished.

Surely safe you will be.

Salmos 91:8

Seguramente a salvo estarás.

Psalms‬ ‭91:7‬

“A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But danger will not come near you.”

We are not exactly sure which of the two wrote psalm 91, Moses or David, but this verse seems to emanate from their experience.

Only someone seeing death come upon a people that devastatingly quick, would use words to describe God’s protection. Only the very hand of God can protect and keep one safe in the mist of terror.

God alone is our Savior, and whatever seems like a mountain, remember He is the one who actually made the mountain. God can flatten the very mountain He made.

Salmos 91:7

“Caerán a tu lado mil, Y diez mil a tu diestra; Mas a ti no llegará.”

Psalms‬ ‭91:6‬

“Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Nor of the destruction (sudden death) that lays waste at noon.”

Each time I read how Egypt was destroyed, I am more amazed. He used a fly! Yes, a fly to destroy Egypt, the most powerful country at the time. Not only that, but a locust ! Yes, a small bug called a locust! Then a frog! Really?! Amazing.

It’s interesting to note that they used to worship and idolize each one. Now In Goshen, where the children of Israel were, they were not affected.

God promises that He will keep all pestilence from you. Like Goshen, we are in our Goshen today.
