Word of the Day

“We have escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The trap is broken and we have escaped.”

PSALM124:7AMP

We were once trapped in a broken state of sadness and in a void.  Then a friend called Jesus came and broke open the trap to set us free. We were not only set free but we were given the gift of peace, wholeness and joy. The old trap, once broken by Christ, is broken for good. Once you taste of the goodness of Jesus and have an experience with the cross, there is no going back. We are now living epistles ready to tell others and set them free too.

Word of the Day

“Then, when they had rowed three or four miles [and were near the center of the sea], they saw Jesus walking on the sea and approaching the boat; and they were [terribly] frightened.”‭‭JOHN‬ ‭6:19‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This verse reminds me of when Jesus was just a few miles away from Lazarus.  Their routine walks would take days, so that distance was quite short.  The sea that’s mentioned in this scripture is only 8 miles long in total and their boat was right in the middle.  In life, when you’re in the midst of a situation that seems overwhelming and difficult Jesus is there to  overcome it.  He won’t wait for you to get to  the shore to help.  When you think that He’s so far and things are hard or unpleasant, that’s exactly when Jesus gets in your boat.  Jesus, the giver of peace and calm is right here with you.  You will make it to shore.

Palabra Del Día

2 Corinthians 11:28 (RVR60):

Word of the Day

“Besides those external things, there is the daily [inescapable] pressure of my concern for all the churches.”

2 CORINTHIANS11:28AMP

In a relationship it’s important to show each other love.  We are in a relationship with God! We have to be more about our father’s business and His agenda.  This is why “Paul was Paul”, wrote so much of the New Testament and experienced the miracles he did.  He was concerned about every cell group, church, and pastor.  That’s a man who loved his God and was not afraid to be passionate. Someone willing to die for their cause is pretty committed.  We have to be about our father's business to see the signs and miracles we are all searching for.

Word of the Day

“And God, who knows and understands the heart, testified to them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us;”

ACTS15:8AMP

Jesus, your wonderful Savior has found something special in your heart and is so pleased that He gave you His Holy Spirit. God Himself found us worthy enough to give us a gift. The Holy Spirit that gives us comfort in this dark, sad world. He gives us power and authority in our lives in order to have control.  These are attributes and evidence that confirms Jesus lives within us.  Rest in Jesus, your friend, who loves you so and gave His life for you. Your soul is well.

Word of the Day

“Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his nephew, and all their possessions which they had acquired, and the people (servants) which they had acquired in Haran, and they set out to go to the land of Canaan. When they came to the land of Canaan,”“Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his nephew, and all their possessions which they had acquired, and the people (servants) which they had acquired in Haran, and they set out to go to the land of Canaan. When they came to the land of Canaan,”

‭‭GENESIS‬ ‭12:5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This journey Abraham took with his family is the journey that a leader should take with their people.  A leader isn't selfish; a leader takes people with them to make them successful too.  Abraham took his whole household and shared his blessings, which is why God blessed Him.  Sometimes we don't know who you have(the people God has given us to shepherd); they're great!  Let's be more caring towards our people so that we can receive the blessings of Abraham.
